18 THINGS I'VE LEARNED DURING IMMERSION

After immersion i learned many things from Pharmacy to Laboratory, Laboratory to Nurse Station, Nurse Station to Information Desk, and last from Information Desk to Accounting. DAY 1: -The importance of every Department of any establishments. -The importance of every Person and there role. DAY2: -Being a Pharmacist is not that difficult but reading the doctors writing. -Different kinds of Injectable or Orally Drugs (including IV's and suspensions) DAY3: -Always observe and double check (expiration date of the Drugs) DAY4: -Knowing your illness through your Poop,urine and blood -Different kinds of crystals or anything that can be seen in your poop or urine DAY5: -Blood Typing DAY6: -To be a nurse is to be pacience not only to patient. -Ways of being a nurse DAY7: -Vital signs and sutoring DAY8: -Be informative DAY9: -Credit,Debit and Difference -Accounting DAY10: -Being a Cashier Extra Learning: -Extracting Blood -Proper Handwashing -Cleanli

First Day of Immersion

January 18 the start of our immersion in Miguel O Cabrera Memorial Hospital Corp,n the first its only orientation on every department of the Hospital but i admit it even though it stil orientation i can't get myself to be nervous,because in 10 days during our immersion i need to learn the ways of this Hospital. We were escorted and informed about the works and how each of the Departments are important to the Hospital,we were toured in every Department and unfortunately at the time that were in the Emergency Room i almost fainted because we actually seen in person how to Catheter a Male,it is very embarrassing but i still cope with it, After all the discussions,the interaction we are now distributed to each assigned Department to learn new things.First Job:Pharmacist
